Synopsis of Battles Without Honor And Humanity

In Showa 21, demobilized soldier Hirono Shozo (played by Bunta Sugawara) was arrested for participating in a gang fight in a busy city. In prison, he met Wakasugi Hiroshi (played by Umemiya Tatsuo), a young cadre of the Doi group, and became brothers. After being released on bail by Yamamori Yoshio (played by Nobuo Kaneko), the leader of the Yamamori team, Guangneng was released from prison and became his disciple, becoming Yamamori's right-hand man. As the city council election begins, the Yamamori group and the rival gang Doi group are at war with each other. Shootings and harassment incidents continue to occur between the two groups. In the end, the war between the two factions ended with Guangneng successfully shooting the leader of the Doi group (played by Hiro Nawa). Guangnou was imprisoned again, and Wakasugi was shot and killed in retaliation against the Yamamori Group. While Hirono is serving his sentence, Tetsuya Sakai (played by Hiroki Matsukata), a young cadre of the Yamamori group, grows in strength and threatens Yoshio Yamamori's position. After Yamamori was released from prison, Guangneng assassinated Sakai, which further intensified the conflict between the two. Guangneng even saw through the so-called benevolence of gangsters in a series of incidents.
