Synopsis of Guilty of Romance

An appalling murder occurred in a remote residence. A female body that was cut into two pieces and had its arms and legs chopped off quietly exuded a putrid smell. The female detective in charge of the case, Yoshida Kazuko (Miki Mizuno) (played by Megumi Kagurazaka) and Ozawa Mitsuko (played by Fukuoka Makoto) gradually surfaced. As the wife of a famous novelist, Ju ChiQuan leads a peaceful and boring life, doing almost nothing except waiting for her husband to come home on time every day. Mitsuko is an associate professor at a famous university and enjoys a high reputation in education and academia. What is the connection between these two unrelated women? Kazuko also has her own secret. On the surface, she is steadfast and virtuous, but she actually has a very chaotic private life. Faced with the black hole of desire that is gradually expanding, how can she keep her bottom line?
