Synopsis of Tokyo Fist

Tsuda Yoshiharu (played by Tsukamoto Shinya) is a salesman of an insurance company. He works hard all day long, endures hardships, and leads a tense and boring life. On this day, Yoshiharu met his high school classmate Kojima Takuji (played by Tsukamoto Koji) on his way home. Because of his ulterior past, Yoshiharu deliberately alienated this annoying classmate. However, Takuji broke into his life on his own and even molested Yoshiharu's girlfriend (played by Fujii Mikaru). The angry Yoshiharu went to argue, but was beaten up by Takuji, a former boxer. From this moment on, the lives of Takuji, Yoshiharu and their girlfriends changed dramatically... The film won the 1996 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival Special Honor Award and the 1996 Japanese Film Newspaper Best Newcomer Award (Tsukamoto Koji).
