Synopsis of All About My Mother

Manuela (Selia Love)'s husband left his wife before his son was born. Manuela became a single mother and came to Madrid with her son Esteban. The son never knew about his father, so Manuela had no choice but to tell her son that his father had passed away. However, the son did not believe it after all. He quietly wrote down his thoughts about his father in his diary. The car accident happened so suddenly, and my son was killed by an oncoming car. The mother was so sad that she decided to go to the child's father, Lola, to fulfill her son's wish. However, she learned that Lola had disguised herself as a woman, became a prostitute, and was infected with AIDS. Even more unfortunately, Sister Rosa (played by Penelope) is pregnant with Lola's child. Manuela stayed with Rosa to take care of her, and the baby Rosa gave birth to was named after her son Esteban. There was finally hope in these difficult days - the newborn actually escaped the bad luck of AIDS.
