Synopsis of Adam

Adam (Hugh Dancy) is a toy designer of voice-controlled dolls and an astronomy enthusiast. He lives alone because of his social phobia. One day, a cheerful girl named Beth (Rose Byrne) moved into the apartment. She met him in the laundry room and started dating. Beth discovers that Adam doesn't understand the world. Although he didn't know how to date, he took her to see the raccoons in Central Park. Slowly, the two people developed feelings. Beth hopes that Adam will enter her circle of friends, but his natural fear of social circles makes him make a lot of jokes. At the same time, the boss believed that Adam's work efficiency could not adapt to the competitive environment and fired him. So Beth began to help Adam overcome his psychological fear and cope with the interview. The relationship between the two also heated up.
