Synopsis of The Nutcracker in 3D
The nine-year-old girl Mary (Elle Fanning) has a life of wealth and prosperity, but lacks the company of her parents. On Christmas Eve, Mary received a precious gift from her uncle - a small house with puppets and a nutcracker. The overjoyed Mary regarded the Nutcracker as her close friend, and unexpectedly discovered that it could talk and claimed that her name was NC (Charlie Rowe) and that she was the prince of the toy kingdom. However, in a nightmare, the beautiful Nutcracker was revealed. The kingdom was occupied by the ferocious Mouse King (played by John Turturro). He also turned the prince into a puppet and was expelled forever. Only by finding someone who truly believes in fairy tales can the spell be lifted. Under the guidance of the Snow Fairy (Yuliya Vysotskaya), Mary helped NC recover his physical body, and bravely agreed to return to the kingdom with him to defeat the Rat King and liberate the people.
