Synopsis of Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon

During the Linde period of the Tang Dynasty, Tang Gaozong (played by Sheng Jian) and Wu Zetian (played by Carina Lau) forcefully sent out a large army for an expedition. Unexpectedly, the fleet was attacked in the sea and suffered a heavy setback. This incident shocked Luoyang, and the people in the capital enthusiastically worshiped the Dragon King. The "Oiran" Yin Ruiji (played by Yang Ying) who confused all living beings even attracted the covetous attention of all parties. Di Renjie (played by Zhao Youting) was ordered by Empress Wu to investigate the case of the Dragon King, but he happened to be involved in the case of kidnapping Yin Ruiji.
