Synopsis of Ip Man 2

Ip Man (played by Donnie Yen) came to Hong Kong with his family and struggled to survive. Ip Man opened a martial arts gym to promote Wing Chun, but no one took it seriously. One day, Huang Liang (played by Huang Xiaoming) came to visit. After a competition, he was willing to bring a group of brothers to worship Ye Wen. Huang Liang got into a fight with Hong Quan's disciples for some reason and was arrested. Ip Man comes to the rescue, but encounters his former rival Jin Shanxun (played by Fan Shaohuang). The two resolve their old feud, but they do not want to be stopped by Hong Fist leader Hong Zhennan (played by Sammo Hung), so that everyone is arrested by the police (played by Zheng Zeshi). Hong Zhennan reminded Ip Man that if he wants to open a martial arts gym in Hong Kong, he must accept the challenges of various martial arts schools. So Ip Man went to the meeting alone, and finally dueled with Hong Zhennan, and they were evenly matched. Ip Man refused to pay the membership fee, and was provoked by Hongmen, causing the martial arts gym to be closed. Behind the scenes, Hong Zhennan organized the Huayang competition for the British police, but he was never paid and felt deeply unfair. The boxing champion Tornado came to China, insulted Chinese martial arts and injured Chinese boxers during the competition. Hong Zhennan stood up and blood spattered the scene. For the honor of Chinese martial arts, Ye Wen accepted the provocation of the tornado and fought for national justice...
