Synopsis of Once Upon a Time in China III

At the end of the late Qing Dynasty, the Qing Empire was on the verge of collapse. Facing the attack of foreign enemies, Empress Dowager Cixi encouraged the people to practice martial arts to resist the enemies. In order to please the Queen Mother, Li Hongzhang held an annual "Lion King Contest" competition. The "Lion King's Hegemony" actually means that each faction dances the lion's head and competes for the championship with force.
