Synopsis of Over the Edge
Matt. Ti Lung's debut film is a social issue film that reflects the confusion of American teenagers in the late 1970s. The story is set in a lower-middle-class community in a small California town. Young people live empty lives and lack legitimate entertainment, so they turn to rock music, psychedelic drugs and sexual release to seek satisfaction. Carl is troubled by local police attempts to crack down on the children's drug dealing. So he ran to the little scoundrel Richie for help because he had a gun. Unexpectedly, things got worse and worse, and the violence got out of hand. Director Jonathan. Kaplan uses a sensitive and flexible approach to express the rebellious feeling of young people, and the effect is unconventional. The soundtrack based on a large number of rock songs makes people feel more energetic.
