In 1952, the Cuban dictator Batista came to power. The government he led implemented high-pressure rule at home and promoted pro-American policies abroad. Che Guevara (Benicio Del Toro) met Fidel Castro (Rodrigo Santoro) in Mexico City in 1955, and then joined Castro. The "July 26th Movement" organized by Tero. The following year, Guevara and 81 other rebels embarked on a journey to overthrow the Batista dictatorship... In order to reproduce the life of revolutionary Che Guevara in detail and truly, the famous American Hollywood director Steven Soderbergh spent 4 hours portraying this legendary hero. The film won the Best Actor Award at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the Palme d'Or.
