Synopsis of Lonely Hearts

The film is adapted from a true story in the United States in the 1940s. Fernandez (Jared Leto) is a professional liar who uses his usual methods to get acquainted with nurse Baker (Salma Hayek) through the "Lonely Hearts Dating Club" and attempts to... Scam her out of her money. However, Baker was a poor man on welfare, and Fernandez, who found it unprofitable, decided to end the relationship with Baker. Unexpectedly, Baker has fallen deeply in love with this liar, and she is even willing to stay with him and cheat with him. Fernandez used his good tricks to win the favor of various women, and the real and fake interactions between them made Baker's jealousy and possessiveness infinitely expand. She often killed deceived women with a complicated psychology, and more than 10 innocent people died at their hands - including a woman who had given birth to Fernandez's child. This pair of bloody mandarin ducks attracted an urgent investigation by the police, and the restoration of the law is just around the corner...
