Synopsis of The Killer Inside Me

In the 1940s, a small town in the United States relied on oil to develop. Elm (Jay R. Ferguson), the son of Chester Conway (Ned Beatty), the richest man in the area, is about to get married, but there is something that troubles Chester. It turns out that Elm had previously had an affair with prostitute Joyce Lakeland (Jessica Alba). In order to avoid embarrassment, Chester secretly instructed the police to expel Joyce, and young policeman Lu Ford (Casey Affleck) became the specific executor of this work. Lu is introverted and obedient on the surface, but he hides an unknown secret in his heart. In just a few weeks of getting along, Joyce was already deeply obsessed with him and couldn't help herself. Unexpectedly, at the last moment, Lu killed Joyce and Elm and fell into the black abyss of destruction... The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Jim Thompson.
