Tulip Fever

Synopsis of Tulip Fever

"Tulip Fever" is adapted from the novel of the same name by Deborah Mogatz. The name of the novel comes from an economic crisis caused by tulips in the Netherlands in the 17th century. At that time, the price of a tulip was equivalent to 10 times the annual income of ordinary people. This movie took place in this context at that time, telling the love story between a married woman and the poor painter she hired to paint her portrait.
