Synopsis of Hondros

An original documentary produced by NetFlix, about the famous war photojournalist Chris Hondros. This famous documentary was directed by Hondros’ friend Greg Campbell and tells the story of Hondros’s experience and shooting as a war photographer. A large number of precious photos. The protagonist of the film, Chris Hondros, is an American war photographer, journalist and Getty photographer. Starting from the Kosovo War in 1999, he has reported on many conflicts and wars, including the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and has won multiple international photography awards. In 2006, Hondros won the Robert Capa Gold Medal, the highest honor for war photography; in 2007, he was awarded the title of "Photography Hero" by American Photography Magazine; in 2008, he won the (U.S.) "National Magazine Award" Final nomination. It was reported on April 21, 2011 that Hondros was hit by artillery fire in Libya and died of serious injuries at the age of 41. The day before his death, he was still filming street fighting between Libyan opposition forces and government forces in Misrata.
