Synopsis of Psychoville Season 1
Joy (Dawn French) carefully protects her toy doll every day and firmly believes that one day he will become her real child. The weird blind old man Lomax lives alone in a big house and has a weird hobby of collecting. Jelly, a frustrated one-handed clown, performs shows for children, but he only performs one show. Robert, a dwarf, has a crush on the heroine of the theater company, but he is always teased by everyone. The immature David (played by Steve Pemberton) is a killer culture fanatic, obsessed with bloody games, and his mother protects her inexperienced son at all costs. Five people from different parts of Britain received the same threatening letter, which said: "I know what you have done." These people all have ulterior secrets. Will the unknown letters connect them? Can the truth be revealed?
