Synopsis of The Money Pit

Lawyer Walt (played by Tom Hanks) meets the beautiful classical musician Anna (played by Shelley Long), and the two people who fall in love soon come together. At first, they lived in the house of Anna's ex-husband Max (Alexander Godunov), but Max kicked them out when he returned. Where should they find a shelter from the wind and rain? What about shelter? Fortunately, the two bought a magnificent villa from an old woman at a very low price. However, not long after they moved in happily, various problems began to appear in the villa. It turned out that this villa was a "tofu dregs project". What was even worse was that there was no construction team willing to take over this hot potato. In order to repair the house, Walt and Anna invested more and more money in the house, but their relationship gradually developed rifts.
