Synopsis of He Got Game

Jesse Shuttlesworth (played by Ray Allen) is a nationally famous high school basketball star. Jesse hopes to make a name for himself in his professional basketball career, but is cast a shadow by his father, Jack Shuttlesworth (Denzel Washington), who is a prisoner. When his father accidentally killed his mother during a domestic violence incident, Jack, who was in jail, faced a deal because he had a star son.
