Synopsis of Naked

The cold and rough tramp Johnny (David Thewlis) comes to London to find his ex-girlfriend Louise Clancy (Lesley Sharp), who comes from Manchester, an industrial city with serious unemployment problems. Go to London, a metropolis that is intertwined with light and darkness. Johnny met Louise's roommate Sophie (Katrin Cartlidge), and the two had sex in the apartment that day. When she woke up, Sophie, who had fallen in love with Johnny, received a cynical and cold rejection from Johnny. Cynical Johnny not only hates women, but also hates everything he does with him. He had sex with a strange woman indifferently, and faced the world violently in despair. This film won the Best Director Award in the Main Competition of the 46th Cannes Film Festival in 1993.
