Synopsis of The Women

Mary Haines (played by Meg Ryan) lives in Manhattan, New York. She is a small and accomplished fashion designer. She also has a handsome and successful husband, a well-behaved and lovely daughter, and her family lives in a luxurious house. Villas are the envy of everyone. Mary is surrounded by a group of long-time buddies, including independent fashion magazine writer Sylvia Fowler (Annette Bening), the somewhat nagging Eddie Cohen (Debra Messing) Debra Messing) and sexy essayist Alex Fisher (Jada Pinkett Smith). But the seemingly perfect life was shattered by an unexpected discovery. Mary's husband had cheated on her with the perfect-looking perfume counter girl Crystal Allen (Eva Mendes). Mary sought help from her friends, but... Thinking of being betrayed by Sylvia...
