Synopsis of In the Land of Women

Carter (Adam Brody)'s career in Hollywood is not going very smoothly, and he has never been able to meet a lifelong lover. When his beautiful girlfriend Sofia (Elena Anaya) broke up with him, Carter's mood hit rock bottom. He left Los Angeles and came to his grandmother's house in Michigan, where there were vast fields and blue skies. Carter began a peaceful life. The grandmother is a neurotic old man, withdrawn, stubborn, and unkind; in addition, the neighbor's mother Sarah (Meg Ryan) and her two daughters also give Carter a different perspective on life: Sarah La endured the fact that her husband was having an affair and made sacrifices to take care of the family; the eldest daughter was in adolescence, irritable and restless; the younger daughter was only 11 years old, but fell into the world of love precociously.
