Synopsis of T2 Trainspotting

Twenty years passed in the blink of an eye. Leiden (Ewan McGregor), who traveled to a foreign country, once again set foot on his hometown of Edinburgh. Unexpectedly, as soon as he came back, he ran into Shi Ba (played by Ewen Bremner) who was desperate and tried to commit suicide. It turned out that Shi Ba not only failed in his marriage but also became addicted to drugs again. With Raiden's encouragement, Shiba decided to use writing to heal his inner scars. Afterwards, Layden found his former best friend, Sick Boy (played by Jonny Lee Miller). The sick boy beat Layden up because of their previous disagreements. After that, a revenge plan slowly took shape in his heart. At the invitation of the sick boy, Leiden decided to open a brothel with the sick boy. Later, Shiba, who was good at design, also joined. Over there, Begbie (played by Robert Carlyle), who was imprisoned, successfully escaped from prison. After learning the truth of the incident, he also decided to find Layton and seek revenge from him.
