Synopsis of A Thousand Words

Jack (Eddie Murphy) has a sharp mouth, and he can say anything to achieve his goal. Because of this mouth, he lost many friends but didn't take it seriously. One day, Jack's lies offended Dr. Xinga (Cliff Curtis), a mysterious religious leader. In order to make Jack understand his shortcomings, he summoned a Bodhi tree. Xinga told Jack that there are a thousand leaves on the Bodhi tree. Every time Jack speaks a word, one leaf will fall. When the leaves fall off, it will be Jack's death day. Jack, who was suddenly deprived of the right to speak freely, was in great pain. Losing the protection of language made Jack understand the true meaning of "be careful in your words and deeds." As time passed, Jack also began to understand that some words should not be said randomly, but There are some things that cannot be left unsaid.
