Synopsis of The Replacement Killers

The killer Li Qiang (played by Chow Yun-fat) from mainland China came to the United States alone. In order to bring his mother and sister back home to reunite with his family in the United States, he had no choice but to borrow money from Mr. Wei, the gang boss in Chinatown, Manhattan, New York. At this time, Mr. Wei's son accidentally fell to his death while evading the police during a drug deal. Li Qiang happened to become a pawn for Mr. Wei's revenge. Li Qiang was sent to kill Officer Stan, the person in charge of the anti-drug operation, and his family. When he found out that Officer Stan's son was only 7 years old, he was so worried about his family that he couldn't do anything. After the operation failed, not only Li Qiang's life was threatened, but his family back in mainland China also faced death. In order to escape back to his hometown to save his family, Li Qiang started a struggle with the killer sent by Mr. Wei!
