Synopsis of The Velveteen Rabbit
Toby is a little boy. After his mother passed away, his father was busy with work and had no time to take care of him, so he had to be sent back to his grandmother's house to live temporarily. Toby's grandma is a seemingly serious and old-fashioned old lady who is busy with her social life all day long. Lonely little Toby discovers a magical attic in an old house, where many old toys are found. Unexpectedly, he found a velvet bunny inside that his mother left for him. Toby finally found a little playmate, and he loved this little bunny wholeheartedly, and pinned his thoughts on his mother on this little bunny. Carry it with you wherever you go. Toby played with rabbits, swans and ponies in his imaginary world all day long, until Toby was infected with the scarlet fever virus and became ill in bed. The doctor said that all his toys must be burned, and the little rabbit faced the fate of being burned. But love makes the world real, and because of the little boy's love for it, it turned into a real rabbit, making the well-known fairy tale come true.
