Synopsis of The Count of Monte Cristo

Edmund (played by Robert Donat) is a vibrant young sailor. He is full of enthusiasm for life, and his kind-hearted personality has also made him many friends in the world. Mercedes (Elissa Landi) is Edmund's beloved girl. When Edmund returns to land after completing his sea job, the two are ready to get married.
