Synopsis of Gentleman's Agreement

Philip (Gregory Peck) is a journalist who brought his son Tommy (Dean Stockwell) and mother (Anne Revere) to the metropolitan New York, where he became a proud and ambitious man. He is going to do something big here. The boss gave Philip a task to write a series of articles about the existence of anti-Semitism in the United States. In order to better complete the task, Philip decided to pretend to be a Jew and experience the taste and situation of being a Jew. What Philip did not expect was that his move caused a rift in the relationship between him and his girlfriend Cassie (Dorothy McGuire).
