Synopsis of Message in a Bottle

After Teresa (Robin Wright Penn) got divorced, her son was her treasure. She is a columnist who works hard to give her son a good life. One day when she was running on the beach, she picked up a glass bottle with a letter inside. Teresa deeply felt the heartache of writing the letter, and by chance, the letter was published in the newspaper. Readers responded enthusiastically, and in order to pursue the victory, the newspaper sent Teresa to find the owner of the letter. The person who wrote the letter is named Gary (Kevin Costner). Since the death of his wife Catherine, he lives in the shadow of sadness every day and expresses his love for his wife in letters. Teresa still saw the sad man and did not tell Gary that she had read the messages in the bottle he wrote. As the two got along, Teresa knew that she had fallen in love with her infatuated Gary, and Gary's life became a lot more lively because of Teresa's appearance.
