Synopsis of All the Pretty Horses

The story takes place just after World War II, when the devastated land is slowly and difficultly recovering its livelihood. John (Matt Damon) and his mother lived a life of dependence. However, the days after the war were really difficult. In order to make ends meet, his mother had to sell the family farm. John lost his only memory of childhood and fell into in deep pain. After growing up, John and his friend Lance (Henry Thomas) embarked on a wandering journey together. On the way, they met a boy named Blevins (Lucas Black), and the three of them met. People travel together and form deep friendships with each other. The group of people came to a manor, where John found a job as a horse herder and fell in love with the manor owner's daughter.
