Synopsis of Patch Adams

Adam (Robin Williams) wanted to be a doctor after he recovered from his mental illness and later attended the Medical College of Virginia. However, the limitations of traditional concepts in the hospital make the doctors very unkind. He disdained this state, so he regarded laughter as an important prescription for healing patients. He always went to the college wearing bright clothes and funny costumes, just to make every patient laugh. The school was very dissatisfied with Adam's behavior, but he still insisted on his philosophy at the risk of being expelled from school. There are many things that Adam needs to overcome, and there will be different challenges and different people and things waiting for him on the road to medicine. Adam is still moving forward unremittingly for his dream.
