Synopsis of The Dreamers

On the eve of the French student movement in 1968, twin siblings Isabella (Eva Green) and Leo (Louis Garrel) became good friends with Matthew (Michael Pitt), an international student from the United States, because of movies. When the siblings brought Matthew home as a guest, Matthew was favored by their parents, who were both university professors, and lived in their home. Slowly, he fell in love with Isabella. After the student movement began, the university was suspended. Three young people had nothing to do and played a game about movie directors and lines in the room. During the game, Isabella knew that Matthew was interested in her, so she teamed up with Leo to ask Matthew to have sex with her. , since then, because their parents went on vacation, the three of them began to live like a Garden of Eden. Matthew also slowly discovered that Isabella and Leo had an affair, and the relationship between the three began to undergo subtle changes, while the outside world was in full swing. The ongoing student movement seems to have nothing to do with them.
