Synopsis of The Hunt

Lucas (Mads Mikkelsen), who has just divorced his wife, currently works in a nursery. He is kind-hearted and gentle, and he is quickly loved by his colleagues and children. Among them, one named Kara ( The precocious girl played by Annika Wedderkopp is particularly close to Lucas. Faced with the girl's naive and innocent overtures, Lucas could only politely refuse, but what he didn't expect was that this move would push his life to the forefront. Carla's retaliatory lies made Lucas accused of sexually assaulting a girl. For a time, this good gentleman became the target of exclusion and oppression in the entire town. The anger of his friends, the distrust of his ex-wife, the death of his pet dog and the malice of strangers almost caused Lucas to collapse.
