Synopsis of Duck Soup

Freedonia's national finances are in trouble. The wealthy widow Mrs. Teasdale (Margaret Dumont) recommends Rufus T. Firefly (Groucho Marx) as the national leader, and she agrees to fund the country. Freedonia's neighbor Sylvania wanted to attack it, so Sylvania's ambassador Trentino sent two spies Chicolini (Chico Marx) and Pinky (Harpo Marx) to spy on Firefly. However, these two unprofessional spies made a lot of jokes. Firefly's secretary Bob Roland (Zeppo Marx) asked Firefly to be more careful, but the mediocre Firefly didn't take it to heart.
