Synopsis of Passion Fish

Actress Mae Alice was paralyzed from the lower body due to a car accident, and a black woman named Chantaili became her caregiver. At first, they were wary of each other and their relationship was tense, but then they gradually became friends. May-Alice gave up drinking and drugs with the encouragement of Qian TaiLai, and Qian TaiLai also started a relationship. They helped each other and began to reflect on their lives, determined to say goodbye to the past and start a meaningful life. There is often a huge difference between people's expectations and achievements, and people who are disillusioned must learn to face difficulties. In other words, once people cannot realize their expectations and life becomes abnormal and tiring, they should still pursue the meaning of life persistently. The film revisits this theme in a calm and thoughtful tone. But as a fictional story, the plot development of this film seems messy and scattered.
