Synopsis of The League of Gentlemen
In the film, Jack Hawkens plays a colonel who is forced to retire and asks a corrupt former British Army cadre to help him rob a million pounds - a risky and complicated plan that also involves the army. The powerful cast includes some of Britain's most famous actors: Richard Attenborough, Brian Forbes and Roger Rivers. This landmark film quickly became popular and influenced countless similar films in Hollywood in the future.
