Synopsis of The Captive

Matthew (played by Ryan Reynolds) and Tina (played by Mireille Enos) are a couple who have been married for many years. They have raised a lovely daughter Cassandra (played by Peyton Kennedy). ), a family of three living in happiness and contentment. One day, Matthew drove Cassandra home. This was an ordinary day, but it became an eternal nightmare for Matthew and his family. Matthew left Cassandra in the car and went to buy dinner. When he returned to the car, he found that Cassandra was missing. Cassandra disappeared, and Matthew's family and marriage were on the verge of collapse. Tina has never been able to forgive Matthew for his negligence, and Matthew is unable to extricate himself from self-blame every day. Years passed in the blink of an eye, when the pain of the past was gradually covered up by time, a photo of Cassandra appeared on the Internet.
