Synopsis of A Piece of Our Life
Koharu, a female college student in the film department who lives with her boyfriend Tai, does not feel any happiness. There was little communication between her and her boyfriend. It seemed that only sex existed, and the distance between them gradually deepened. By chance, the dull Koharu meets the beautiful girl Riko (played by Nakamura Eiriko). Riko works in a prosthetics company. She has a flamboyant personality and dares to love and hate, which is in sharp contrast to Xiaochun. However, their complementary personalities also attracted them to each other, and they became friends. The relationship with Routa becomes increasingly tense, and Koharu's balance begins to favor Satoko. The love story of the two girls unfolds... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by the manga artist Sakurazawa Rika and is the directorial debut of Amiko Ando. Ando herself is the eldest daughter of the famous actor and director Eiji Okuda. Okuda also played a role in the film with only his back exposed.
