Synopsis of Overheard

The three brothers in the eavesdropping team of the intelligence department are brothers. Liang Junyi (played by Liu Qingyun) is upright but cowardly, and he fiddles with personal relationship issues; Yang Zhen (played by Louis Koo) is in a difficult family situation and must not only deal with the dangers of his son suffering from leukemia that may arise at any time. An unexpected situation occurred, and he himself was seriously ill and was about to die soon; Lin Yixiang (played by Daniel Wu) was young and promising, full of ambitions, and now he has "married into a wealthy family", and his future is unlimited. When the three brothers were responsible for investigating the suspected insider trading case of the listed company "Fenghua International", they worked together and successfully completed the work of arranging various eavesdropping and surveillance equipment. During the continuous monitoring process, they accidentally obtained a piece of information. Under the temptation of huge profits, the three of them became greedy and made a fortune in the turbulent stock market. Afterwards, the three of them were afraid that the matter would be exposed, so they took advantage of their positions to destroy the evidence. Just when the three of them thought that the matter had calmed down, they never expected that the storm would rise again. An unexpected black hand struck at them. The three of them fell into robbery and were killed one after another, and finally ended tragically. "Three big men" challenge the limit, and the two major teams ("Infernal Affairs" and "The Disciple") jointly create a deeply touching tragedy.
