Synopsis of The Words

This film is the directorial debut of Brian Krugman and Lee Sternsio, the two screenwriters of "Tron: Legacy". Although Rory (Bradley Cooper) has been working hard on writing, he has never been favored by the publishing house, and he has to rely on his father's assistance from time to time. When he and his new wife Dora (Zoe Saldana) went to Paris for their honeymoon, they bought a manuscript bag in a second-hand store. Rory stumbles upon an old novel manuscript inside, and the content fascinates him deeply. In the end, he took possession of the novel and published it, which finally made him famous and became a new star in the literary world. And a mysterious old man (Jeremy Irons) suddenly appears, telling Rory that he is the author of the novel, and tells him a true love story that took place in Paris in the novel. Faced with all this, Rory felt an inescapable sense of guilt. Will he take success for granted, or is it a moral test?
