Synopsis of Our Hospitality

There used to be a tradition of "family feuds" in the United States. The Mackay and Cornfield families were two families who had been feuding for generations. In 1810, John Mackay and James Cornfield exchanged gunfire on a rainy night and both died. In order to free her son from the feud, John's widow took her young son to live in New York, while James's father vowed to take revenge after raising his two grandsons. Twenty years later, Willy Mackay (Buster Keaton) grows up and rushes back to his hometown to inherit his father's inheritance. After experiencing a slow and unpredictable train journey, Willy and his companions Befriended the girl Virginia. When Willy arrived at his destination, he visited Virginia's house, and the girl turned out to be the youngest daughter of the Cornfield family. Virginia's two brothers wanted to harm Willy after knowing his identity, but "hospitality" The tradition of "Tao" prevented them from starting at home, so Willy stayed at Confield's house to protect himself...
