Synopsis of The Rose
Janis (Bette Midler) has not been a popular one among the crowd since she was very young. She is very inferior to her appearance and has never gained a true friendship. At the age of seventeen, Janice's passion for music ignited, she joined a band and became famous in San Francisco. Janice's music style is very casual and wild. Through screaming and roaring, she tries to vent her inner depression. As time went by, Janis became more and more famous, and her dream finally came true - becoming a superstar. However, fame brought her not only money and benefits, but also pressure and pain. She indulged her desires and coveted to enjoy the pleasures of sex, and all of this was because, deep down in her heart, Janis still felt that she was an unloved child.
