Synopsis of Scoop

An American female college student Sandra (played by Scarlett Johansson) came to London, England to interview a film director in order to find exclusive news for the school newspaper. During the investigation and interview process, she participated in a magic show by magician Sid (Woody Allen). In a sealed box, she met the ghost of a deceased senior reporter. During his lifetime, a reporter was a person who would do anything to get exclusive news. On the ship to the underworld, he learned from a murdered former secretary that the "Tarot Card Killer" turned out to be the handsome and wealthy aristocrat Peter (played by Hugh Jackman). He didn't want this explosive news to be buried, so he approached Sandra and asked her to help him fulfill his wish. Faced with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Sandra decided to go deep into the tiger's den and roped in the magician Sid to pretend to be father and daughter to sneak into the upper class and get close to Peter. Things went surprisingly smoothly, and Sandra and Peter became a sweet couple. However, the Tarot Card Killer continues to act...
