Synopsis of Holmes and Watson

Veteran comedy stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly will join forces again to join Sony's new comedy film "Holmes and Watson." Farrell and Reilly play Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes' assistant Watson. Etan Cohen, the director of "Prison" starring Farrell, will serve as the director of "Holmes & Watson". The film's script is inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series and is a PG-13 comedy. When Sony originally bought the script, it originally wanted to star Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen ("Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby"), but that later fell through. Sony plans to start filming immediately after Thanksgiving this year (November 24). It is expected to be released next year.
