Synopsis of The Fugitive Kind

Sydney. This low-key romantic melodrama directed by Lumet is adapted from Tennessee. Williams' play Orpheus Descends. By Malone. Brando, Anna. Magnani, Joanne. Starring Woodward and others. The plot tells the story of a female owner of a small town candy store who discovers by chance that her paraplegic husband secretly burned down her father's vineyard, causing her family to be destroyed. So she turned to the young wandering guitarist to pursue happiness, but her vicious husband refused to let her go and eventually shot her. Due to the wrong casting and the director's warm and ambiguous tone, the love triangle in the film is unconvincing.
