Synopsis of The Innocent

Duke Tulio (played by Giancarlo Giannini) married his beautiful wife Qiuliana (played by Laura Antonelli). Although he has a lovely wife at home, the naturally lustful Duke Tulio still Spending all day hanging out with women made the young Qiuliana feel very lonely. With the passage of time, Qiuliana gradually could not bear such a depressive life. By chance, she met a man named Stefano (Massimo Girotti). Stefano is a poor writer. Although he is penniless, his talent deeply attracts Qiuliana, and the two gradually come together. In the end, this unfaithful relationship was known to Duke Tulio, but what made him most angry was not his wife's infidelity to him, but Stefano's low status.
