Synopsis of Chronicle

Young Andrew (played by Dane DeHaan) is like most otakus, introverted, uncommunicative, and mildly social afraid. The beating and scolding from his father and the serious illness of his mother made him wary of everything around him, and he became a shooting maniac hiding behind the camera, intoxicated in his own little world all day long. In order to open up the situation for Andrew's future, his cousin Matt (Alex Russell Alex Russell) invites him to attend the campus party. During the party, at the suggestion of their cousin friend Steve (Michael B. Jordan), the three went on a thrilling wild caving trip and unexpectedly gained the super power to freely manipulate objects. This became a watershed in their lives - their strong curiosity and desire for expression urged the three of them to constantly challenge the upper limit of their abilities, and Andrew's endless creativity made him a leader among his partners and the star of the party. Unfortunately, the good times did not last long, and his increasing abilities did not bring happiness. The uncontrolled Andrew went overboard and went too far, eventually leading to an irreversible road of destruction...
