Synopsis of Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad

Yukio Tanaka (played by Daisuke Namikawa) is an ordinary 14-year-old middle school student. Without that encounter, he might have been lost among all living beings throughout his life, leaving no trace. As fate would have it, he met Minami Ryusuke (played by Yuma Ueno), a young returnee from overseas who was two years older than him. Ryusuke has a flamboyant personality and has a stubborn love for music. When he was in New York, he formed a rock band, but his colorful life and overly persistent personality caused him to part ways with the band. But Ryusuke finally found rapper Chiba Tsunemi (played by Shintaro Ohata) and 18-year-old bassist Yoshiyuki Ping (played by Kenji Nojima), determined to form another band to pursue his dream. With Xiaoxiong and transfer student Yushi Sakurai (played by Toru Nara) who is good at drums, a dual-vocalist band named BECK is officially formed. The boys who love rock and roll rush towards the other side of their hearts happily... This film is adapted from the original manga of the same name by Haruru Rakuishi.
