Synopsis of Mr. Popper's Penguins

Mr. Pope (Jim Carrey) is an efficient businessman with a great enthusiasm for his work. He is highly regarded in the company, but he often sacrifices time with his family. This winter, when he is going all out to find a troublesome partner, his ex-wife Amanda (Carla Gugino) is also preparing to start her next relationship. However, everything takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of a courier box - Mr. Pope inherits the most unusual property from his late father: a live penguin. Just when he was helpless, he received five more live penguins. The penguins once made a mess of Mr. Pope's regular life and work, but his young son loved the penguins very much. However, in a big city like New York, although raising penguins is fun, it is definitely not easy... The film is adapted from the children's novel of the same name co-written by Richard and Florence Atwater.
