The animated TV version of "Mobile Attack Team" is divided into 2 seasons. Season 1 description: In 2030 AD, the world that has experienced four world wars is facing more severe challenges. With the continuous development of technology such as human prosthetics, criminal behavior has become increasingly bizarre and complex. In order to solve such cases, the Public Security Section 9, a force directly under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Japan, a special force that does not exist to the outside world, under the leadership of captain Motoko Kusanagi, launched sanctions against evil forces. What Public Security Section 9 faces are cases created by highly developed technology, conspiracies of power political struggles, and StandAlone Complex crimes represented by the smiling man. The story of the second season took place after the Smiling Man incident. Public Security Section 9 faced a new enemy. The anti-government armed organization calling itself the "Personal 11" began a well-planned crime. The war refugee issue involved behind it was even more disturbing. Conflicts in the entire society intensified. Faced with the pressure from the government and criminals, Motoko Kusanagi once again led the Public Security Section 9 to dispatch.
