Synopsis of Brooke

Spain, 1808. On June 6, 1808, Napoleon's army faced its first defeat, and it was caused entirely by one person: a young man used the continuous echo caused by playing drums on Montserrat to cause panic in the French army. When Napoleon Bonaparte himself heard the news, he gave Alain Maraval, captain of the Royal Guards Hussars, a mission: to hunt down the person responsible for Montserrat and cut off his head as a sign of punishment. The captain gathered his most satisfied men and set out to find the young man known as Brooke.
